Covid – 19 Update! Call us: 07 823 1126
We are still open and here to take care of your animals – but we have changed the way we must work. This is so we can keep both you and us safe to the best of our abilities. We have returned to normal hours and are providing a normal service including desexing and vaccinating again.
We understand this is a stressful time for you and your pet – we are here to help you. Please help us to help you and your pet by taking care with the following:
You are welcome to accompany your pet into the clinic again to see the vet. If possible, limit this to one person per animal. A nurse will assist the vet so that you may take a seat and help us maintain social distancing in the consultation room.
Covid - 19 and your pet
The information we have so far is that dogs do not contract or spread Covid-19. They can, however, act as a 'surface' that the virus can live on for a period of time. Cats appear to be able to contract the disease but their symptoms tend to be mild. If you are unwell with Covid-19, we recommend you isolate yourself from your pets, as you would with other people.
If you, or any members of your family are feeling unwell with a fever or cough, and you are concerned about the health of your pet, please call the clinic. We can still help you with your pet but additional arrangements will need to be made.
If you are currently in self isolation and you are concerned about the health of your pet, please call the clinic – we can make arrangements to check out your pet.
If you have Covid – 19, you should try and limit contact with your pet – as you would with other people – as your pet can potentially carry the virus on their coat, like any other infected surface. Please call us if you are infected with the virus and are concerned about the health of your pet.
